Located in Taipei, Taiwan, nabiis Cycles & Coffee was created from a simple idea: to build a space where cycling and everyday life naturally come together.
nabiis began in 2008, emerging from Taipei’s early fixed gear movement and the city’s bike messenger culture. At the time, fixed gear riding was still a niche scene in Taiwan—defined less by sport and more by urban expression, utility, and a DIY spirit. Bike messengers and street riders formed a close-knit community where bicycles were tools for work, movement, and identity. That energy and independence became the foundation of nabiis.

As Taipei’s cycling scene evolved, so did nabiis. What started from fixed gear and messenger roots gradually expanded into road cycling, gravel riding, and a broader engagement with performance, craftsmanship, and design—while still holding onto the original street-level spirit that shaped its beginning.

Taipei offers one of the most unique riding environments in the world. Few major cities allow cyclists to leave a dense urban core and reach mountain roads within minutes. Surrounded by lush hills and an extensive network of climbs, Taipei provides year-round riding across diverse terrain. Riders can ascend Yangmingshan, explore the rolling roads of Pinglin, or head toward the coast, all within a short ride from the city.
This accessibility has helped shape a cycling culture that is both diverse and deeply connected to place. Road cyclists, gravel riders, bikepackers, fixed gear riders, commuters, and recreational cyclists share the same roads, creating a dynamic and layered community.

At nabiis, we focus on premium cycling equipment, thoughtful product selection, and creating meaningful experiences both on and off the bike. This year, nabiis will also introduce a new space, ABOVE, launching this summer. ABOVE will extend the nabiis experience into a more complete cycling environment, offering a refined and expanded approach to bicycle retail, community, and culture—creating a space where riders can engage more deeply with products, services, and the cycling lifestyle as a whole.

隨著台北的自行車文化逐漸發展，nabiis 也一路跟著改變。從最初的 Fixed Gear 與單車信使文化，慢慢延伸至公路車、Gravel，以及對性能、工藝與設計更全面的關注；但同時，nabiis 依然保留著最初塑造品牌的街頭精神。
台北擁有世界上相當獨特的騎乘環境。很少有大型城市能讓騎士在離開密集的都市核心後，短短幾分鐘內就進入山路。台北四周被綠意濃密的山區包圍，也擁有大量爬坡路線，幾乎全年都能在不同地形中騎乘。從陽明山的爬坡、坪林起伏的山路，到一路騎向海岸，這些路線都能從城市出發，在不長的距離內抵達。
這樣的地理條件，也塑造出一種多元、而且與土地緊密相連的自行車文化。公路車騎士、Gravel 騎士、Bikepacking 玩家、Fixed Gear 騎士、通勤族與單純享受騎乘的人，共享同一座城市與道路，形成一個層次豐富而持續流動的社群。
在 nabiis，我們專注於高品質的自行車裝備、經過思考的產品選擇，以及創造自行車上與自行車之外都具有意義的體驗。無論是追求性能的公路騎乘、Gravel 探索、城市移動，或只是單純為了待在戶外而騎車，我們都把騎自行車視為日常生活的一部分，而不是與生活分開的一件事。
